CIS Shenyang Christmas Concert

   The students, teachers and parents were warmly welcomed to the opening of CISS Christmas Concert 2019 by our Masters of Ceremony in English, German, Korean and Chinese!

   All the performances were well prepared by CISS teachers and students including kindergarten, PYP,MYP and DP. All the students performed on the stage and displayed our CISS students love of the arts in this holiday season and the positive philosophy of sharing community spirit through performance with others.                   This wonderful concert is also a celebration for the students and parents who have joined our school , of the success CISS had gained in less than two years since its foundation.

   As the Student Masters of Ceremony eloquently said in 4 languages to our international parent audience:

"We feel so delighted because we have gained so much during the past year. In the CISS community we have gained in our knowledge, developed friendships and understood the meaning of growing up.

We are so grateful because our teachers and parents have done so much for our development during the past year. Every care you took for us and every contact shows your concern for us as you have encouraged us to do better in the future. My dear teachers and parents thank you all for everything you have done for us. We would also like to use this opportunity to entertain you and show you our appreciation by sharing our Christmas Spirit." The concert program included a variety of festive singing including:

1 “Where is Santa”, sung by our Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten students, led by Ms Nayali.

2 Little Drummer Boy”, performed ny Grade 1 and 2 students accompanied by Mr Maldonado on the guitar.

3 Dance “Candyman” performed Grade 3 students

4 Song “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”, sung by Grade 4 and 5 students.

5  “Silent Night”, performed by Grade 6, 10 and 11 in French, Mandarin and English. 

6  “Jingle Bell Rock”.Grade 7s,

7 song “Santa Claus is coming to town” performed by our  Grade 8 and 9 students. 

8  Special Performance from Lucy on the flute and Annie on the piano.  “Silent Night”

9  Dancing to “Let it go” by Cindy,

10    “Jingle Bells”grade 4 and 5 students

11  “Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer” by Grade 4 to grade 10 students.

12  Song “O Come All Ye Faithful”, performed by Grade 1 to 10 students.

13   “Ding Dong Merrily on High”
