Summer is in the air, flowers are blossoming, and we have finally met each other! On June 16, the long holiday finally came to an end, and the students have returned to the kindergarten. In the early morning, Madam Duan Yun A, executive director of CISS, and Mr. Norman, Principal of CISS, were waiting at the gate to greet the students. In order to give a sweet surprise to the lovely students, kindergarten teacher Ms. Nayali has come to receive them covered in balloons to show that it was social distancing of one meter apart! So what did we do on the first day?
First and foremost, Ms. Nayali talked a little with the children about epidemic prevention and control knowledge: face masks, one-meter social distancing, seven-step hand washing ... The children rushed to speak their own ideas, saying the school was a little bit different but still fun...
To let the students know this virus is very naughty! It may be hidden in our daily life. Ms. Nayali took the children outside, playing the roles of health guards, to search for the "virus" and kill it with disinfectant and soap!
Then Ms. Nayali demonstrated why it was necessary to use 7 steps to hand hygiene, in order to give the students more intuitive visual perception, Ms. Nayali used painting instead of soap to show 7 steps to hand hygiene, it was easy to see both hands were covered with painting evenly after seven steps technique, when the students tried the steps in person, they were also surprised to find by applying 7 steps to hand hygiene, little hands were nice and clean! Isn't that interesting!
Teacher plays a guiding role throughout the process and gradually leads the students to develop independence. Children are happy to participate and take responsibility for their own learning. CISS supports students in their efforts to understand the world and learn in a healthy and joyful manner.
