What color is childhood? It’s a colorful paper aircraft? I believe you are all familiar with paper aircraft! But how much do you know about paper aircraft? Today, our ECA will lead students to analyze paper aircraft from the perspective of aerodynamics, and how to make it fly farther!
To ensure the smooth flight of paper aircraft, the following points should be followed:
1. A strong front end design ensures a stable flight and the nose is fixed with paper clip to allow the aircraft to fly further.
2. In case the nose of the aircraft is too heavy, adjust the tail end of the wings and fold upward slightly.
3. The center of gravity should be placed forward to prevent the aircraft from swaying.
4. The wing angle should be up, and a "Y" shape shall be seen for the whole aircraft from the front part.
5. Winglets at the tips of wings help reduce resistance.
6. Look at the front end of the aircraft from above; check whether it is symmetrical, and refold it if necessary; Complete asymmetry will not allow smooth flight.
7. Patience and small adjustments are more important than fundamentally changing the basic design.
