CISS World Book Day Award Ceremony

Fragrance of book makes reading eternal. On April 30, CISS held an award ceremony on the occasion of the 26th World Book Day, marking the conclusion of the week-long World Book Day activities.

To participate in this activity, every student needs to carefully prepare a recommendation card of good books in his/her opinion. The judges interview the students on the content of the recommendation cards to select the best.

At last, Madam Duan Yun A, Executive Director of CISS, and Ms. Patricia, Acting Principal of CISS, presented awards to the winners.

What eyes can't see, reading can; 

What steps cannot measure, reading can; 

Where your body cannot reach, reading can take you there;

The books we have read and the scenery we have seen contribute to our open mind, which makes us more considerate, interesting and reflective. 

From this World Book Day on, let books become a part of our lives!
