CISS Held Semester Summary Commendation

The 2020-2021 school year is over, students have entered the beautiful summer vacation, and teachers can have a rest and recharge themselves after a busy year. On July 1, CISS held first G5 Exhibition & Graduation Ceremony, first MYP Science Fair and Semester Summary and Commendation to show students' learning achievements, and to present First PYP Exhibition Planning Award, First MYP Science Fair Planning Award, First Year-End Concert Planning Award, Admission Team Contribution Award, Teacher’s Contribution Award to the teachers and staff who have made outstanding contributions to the development and teaching progress of the school and dedication award to the faculty staff who have worked hard on the June 26 event and promotional admission team.

The year 2021 is destined to be another unforgettable year in the history of CISS. The sudden outbreak of the epidemic in Shenyang at the end of last year, in response to the unified arrangement of the municipal government, primary and middle school students in the whole city had an early holiday, which disrupted the pace of CISS IB programs that were synchronized with the world.  Teachers were anxious, so were parents, therefore CISS decided to extend the semester, we would not make parents and students suffer any loss, instead we would ensure the learning progress and learning quality of students. That means teachers will not only have to cut back on the summer holiday, but they will also have to redesign the curriculum. For the benefit of the students, the foreign teachers not only accepted this arrangement, but also engaged in teaching with a positive attitude.

The new admission season is here again. Every year's admission season is an uphill battle, and this year it is even more so. All the Chinese staff and some foreign teachers carry forward the style of fighting dare to fight, continuous fighting, brave the scorching sun and rainstorm to go out to promote the school, making more people know CISS, understand CISS, you are also the heroes of CISS.

Madam Duan Yun A, Executive Director of CISS, on behalf of Dr. Francis Pang, Chairman of CISS, presented the awards to all the honored employees and thanked them for their hard work. She said:  What extraordinary years we have had. Since its establishment, CISS has always been moving forward in the face of challenges and developing in difficulties. It is because of the unity and hard work of Chinese and foreign faculty staff, CISS has come this far today. Only by working hard can we achieve glory, this is our CISS motto. Let us continue to forge ahead and strive for a better tomorrow for CISS!
