On August 30, CISS International Club ECA is officially launched. Dance, football, Korean, calligraphy, Lego, STEM, child drama, mini chefs... The colorful courses make students have fun in learning!
ECA was established in 2019 and has become the education brand of CISS. The senior CISS teachers personally carry out curriculum design and teaching, as a supplement and extension of the IB programs, and provide students with free and more special learning and social practice opportunities after class.
Ms. Nayali’s Lego Duplo Builders for kindergarten children is to build Lego Duplo figures based on visual models, and cultivate children's sense of space and hands-on skills;
Ms. Beryl's child drama for kindergarten children turns an interesting picture book into a creative drama class.
Ms. Nayali’s mini chefs cultivates children’s interest in food to enjoy the fun of participating in simple food preparation.
Ms. Amanda’s Lego WeDo for PYP students, allowing students to operate on iPad, build Lego machines, and learn to research and solve problems.
In the dance class taught by Ms. Merry for PYP students, through physical flexibility exercise, it not only shapes the body, but also cultivates the temperament.
Mr. Paulo’s football lesson for PYP and MYP students include both training and match, allowing students to cultivate the spirit of the game in a good atmosphere and learn to respect opponents and rules.
The STEM course set up by Mr. Francisco for MYP students, through some chemistry and physics experiments, guides students to explore science, technology, design, mathematics and other subjects, and combine them properly.
There is also a special course taught by three MYP Korean students. They are Lydia from G7, Daniel from G8 and Habin from G9. They proudly introduce Korean culture and also teach basic spelling and writing of Korean to the students.
