Every September 21st is International Day of Peace, also known as World Peace Day. As decided by the United Nations, this day is a day of peace, non-violence and ceasefire in any region where conflicts exist. This day is also a day to commend those who have worked hard to end conflict and promote peace. The United Nations will hold a ceremony and ring the peace bell on this day every year, urging everyone to pay attention to and commemorate this day, and to pay the highest tribute to those who are committed to safeguarding world peace.
Today, all CISS students, under the leadership of their teachers, have carried out World Peace Day commemorative activities. The students made peace doves. With the teacher's explanation, they understood the suffering caused by war to human beings, wrote their own understanding of peace, and pressed their handprints on the banner of peace to express the students' attention and support to peace.
The teachers and students unanimously agreed that peace is hard-won, and the road to peace is extremely difficult and long. Peace is the common expectation of all of us, and peace can enable us to live better in this world.
CISS little tigers: Be a symbol of World Peace Day!
What is World Peace Day? Why do we come to school wearing white?
The little tigers in the kindergarten start exploring the World Peace Day with a big question mark.
We decide: To use a paper plate to make a symbol of World Peace Day! Protect peace in our own way!
