Canadian International School of Shenyang Course

On April 14th, the Canadian International School of Shenyang (CISS) held a Demonstration Course Presentation and Open House. Foreign personnel and their children from all over Shenyang and Liaoning Province visited the school to learn more about the courses, facilities and staff of the school and enjoy our new campus .

CISS was established by the Education Department of the New Brunswick government of Canada and the AKD International Education Inc. This project hopes to fill the gap of Liaoning International Education development. It is the only Canadian International School in northeast China by AKD International Education Inc. and will offer the same programs as CIS Beijing, CIS Hefei and ISNS Shenzhen.

During the day's events, the visitors included parents of students who are currently studying in the CISS school, and foreigners from all over the Liaoning province interested in sending their children to our internationally recognized program.

The principal Alan Norman conducted the tour of the facilities and explained the progress and programs of the school to the very interested parents and students.

The Chairman of European Union Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Harald Kumpfert came with many members of European Union Chamber of Commerce in Liaoning to participate in the Open house Day.

Mr. Kumpfert gave a welcome speech to the parents of the value of this school to Shenyang and Liaoning. When he was talking to reporters in an interview, he said” a high level International English Education is most important for international development in a city. When businesses are deciding to make an investment in Liaoning Province, we know their foreign staff want quality education for their children. When we gave the recommendation of how to create an international business environment to Municipal Government, we mentioned that we need a real international school which can offer high quality education, also in line with international practice. So when I know we have an Canadian International School which established by AKD International Education Inc., I am happy that this is a great blessing for foreigners and foreign companies in Liaoning.

The principal of Canadian International School of Shenyang, Mr. Alan Norman, has served as first Principal of Canadian International School of Beijing and Canadian International School of Hefei, and has over 20 years of experience with international education schools, courses and Staff in China. He has taken up the post of the principal of CIS Shenyang, which reflects the emphasis and expectation of the AKD International Education Inc. in the development of this school. 

Mr. Norman welcomed the Guests, Parents and Students and said; “we will strive to build high level programs, and a high-quality international school for the children of resident foreigners of Shenyang and Liaoning.
