Opening Ceremony of the Canadian International School of Shenyang

On the afternoon of July 9th, the opening ceremony of the Canadian International School of Shenyang was held at the Liaoning Friendship Hotel in Shenyang, China. Relevant departments of Liaoning Province and Shenyang City Governments and the heads of the Ministry of Education of New Brunswick provincial government attended the ceremony.

The Canadian International School of Shenyang was founded by the Ministry of Education of New Brunswick and AKD International Education Inc.. It is a project to help the development of international education in Liaoning. The school adopts the world-advanced Power School system. Its student courses are recognized by the Ministry of Education of New Brunswick, Canada. Students are also eligible to take the HSK Chinese certification exam. Moreover, the school will apply to ACAMIS-Association of China and Mongolia International Schools and the International Baccalaureate Organization.These qualifications are currently not available in other international schools in Liaoning Province.

One of the founders, AKD International Education Inc., has engaged in international education cooperation with the Chinese Government for more than 20 years. He has been committed to educational cooperation between China and Canada, adhering to the concept of education as the first step in promoting economic development.
