2023 Children’s Day at CISS was an all-in, everyone goes bunch of fun. All the students participated in a treasure hunt game to find their team.
Students were given giant letters which spelled out CHILDREN’S DAY. The trouble was, that the letters were spread out across all grades. The Grade 10s had the Cs and the Grade 1s had the Ys. When the word was given, the students scattered around the soccer field trying to find their team mates. Total chaos ruled for a short while until the students got the hang of it.
Once they did, teams were quickly made and a winner (Team 6) was found and awarded prizes.
While the activity was a lot of fun, the best part was that the students stayed in their mixed group and had a meal together and chatted. Everyone got to meet and make at least three or four new friends. Mingling with students from other grades turned out to be a fantastic way to spend
Look, how happy the students were once they had found their team, they sat down to a big cake and scrumptious picnic lunch provided by the kitchen staff!
