Knowing the origin of the Day, let's enter CISS campus to experience the students' International Literacy Day!
Early in the morning, executive director of CISS, Madam Duan Yun A, and the vice principal are waiting at the school gate to greet the dressed-up students. Students come to school dressed as characters in their favorite books!
At 9 am, the activity officially begins. The students, with their favorite books, exchange about their favorite books and characters with each other. There are Disney princesses: Snow White, Elsa, the Little Mermaid... There are also the Queen of Spades, Charlie Chick, The Borrowers Arrietty, The Great Detective...
The students show the essence of literacy is learning with practical actions. Only through continuous learning and iteration can we constantly solve difficulties in the face of various complex situations.
