Charity International Exchange Is Hosted By CISS

On September 19, Canadian International School of Shenyang hosts 2020 Charity International Exchange jointly with European Union Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong China Chamber of Commerce and American Chamber of Commerce.

This event has received strong support from foreign institutions and expatriates in Shenyang. Dr Francis Pang, chairman of the board of Canadian International School of Shenyang, Mr. Paul Cheung, President of Hong Kong China Chamber of Commerce, Ms.Ladon Ghalili , Chairman of Northeast Chapter of American Chamber, Ms Chen Qing, General Manager of EU Chamber of Commerce Shenyang Chapter,   Mr. Mengjun Cai ,Executive Committee of Northeast Chapter of American Chamber, Ms.Tang Yuhong，Founder and Chairman of Golden Bell Outdoor Media Group Inc. The ticket income of this event will also be used for the training cost and catering subsidy of Shenyang Disabled People's Art Troupe.

On the event site, Shenyang Disabled People's Art Troupe presented a wonderful performance for the guests, and CISS students also performed their own well-rehearsed programs. PYP (elementary school) students from Germany, Spain, South Korea, Japan, Pakistan recited the Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai's LEAVING THE BAIDI TOWN AT DAWN, their clear articulation, cadenced recitation drew applause from the audience, the event site was full of love, enabling us see that the Chinese and foreign people’s love, care and responsibility for people with disabilities.

Dr. Francis Pang, chairman of the board of Canadian International School of Shenyang, said in his speech: Being enthusiastic about public welfare undertakings, caring for vulnerable groups, and cultivating students' sense of social responsibility in public welfare activities are part of our CISS educational philosophy. CISS is not only committed to providing students with a quality IB education, but also cares deeply about their mental health and personality development. It is with such purpose we have organized toady’s charity event. Children are the hope of the world; our children will grow into excellent world leaders, and lead the world to a better future!

Dr. Pang also said: CISS is a high-level international school founded by AKD International INC in partnership with the Education Department of New Brunswick, Canada. Founded in 2017, CISS is the first international school established by AKD International INC in northeast China. It is also a school to fill the gap in the development of international education in Liaoning province. Our school is 15-year consistent system; there are senor high school, junior middle school, primary school, and kindergarten, introducing advanced Canadian curriculum system on the basis of English. Cultivating all-round development of high-quality international talent is our fundamental purpose. Especially during the epidemic this year, in order to protect students from the impact of the epidemic and successfully complete their studies, the school set up the anti-epidemic team in no time, making it the only international school in Shenyang where all the teachers were working normally during the epidemic. During the school closure period, teachers carefully designed online courses, and we opened international club ECA, so that students also have made great progress and greater harvest in the holiday. After the beginning of the new school year, against the backdrop of the general downturn in the whole industry, the number of students in CISS has risen instead of falling. It is proof that our efforts have been highly recognized by students and parents.
